Using the example of electrodeposition of Co-W coatings from a citrate bath, it has been experimentally proved that with a large-scale transfer of the results of studying the process rate, composition and properties (microhardness) of coatings under galvanostatic conditions, it is necessary to change the volume of the bath in proportion to the change in surface area. In this case, the current load on the electrolyte is preserved, which is quantitatively determined by the value of the volume current density.
