A solution to the problem of the calculation of temporary evolution of amplitudes of capillary waves of any symmetry on a surface of the charged cylindrical jet of ideal incompressible conductive liquid, moving relative to an ideal incompressible dielectric medium is offered, whith an account of multimode initial conditions. Analytical expressions for temporary evolution of amplitudes of waves on a jet, amplitude values of hydro-dynamic potential of fields of speeds are found in a jet as well as the electric potential of the field in the neighborhood of a jet. An assessment of the characteristic time of separation of a drop from a jet is carried out.
