IN-SITU Irreversible Changes in the Primary Alkaline Zn-MnO<sub>2</sub> Elements

Primary commercial alkaline zinc-manganese elements (after thermal treatment and the electrical load impact) were studied by the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The components of the electric circuits and spectrum data responding to irreversible changes of the investigated samples were identified by an analysis of the experimental spectrum and the model equivalent electric circuit. The method of the battery endurance testing based on simultaneous data correlation of the three characteristics: voltage changing on an active resistance, surface capacity and temperature was proposed.
