Installations for the Formation of Erosion and Abrasion-Resistant Electrospark Discharge Coatings on the Blades of Steam Turbines of Thermal and Nuclear Power Plants

The article is devoted to the creation of installations for generating electric spark erosion and abrasion-resistant protective and strengthening coatings on the blades of steam turbines of thermal and nuclear power plants such as GBF and the KGB, developed and manufactured by the JSC "VTI". A feature of installations is that their beeing equipped with electromechanical exciters with a high performance and reliability of the resource compared to electromagnetic ones. The data from the study of electrical characteristics of the installation KGB-5 are presented.
