Closed Mathematical Model of the Electric and Magnetic Fields in the Discharge Chamber of Electrohydraulic Installation

A mathematical model of electrical and magnetic fields in the discharge circuit and in the discharge chamber of the electrohydraulic installation is developed, with the account of the influence of hydrodynamic processes on the discharge channel. An algorithm for solving the obtained system of equations by numerical methods is developed. Modeling of the expansion of the discharge channel in water is made in a geometrically nonlinear formulation yet on a fixed finite-difference grid. The mathematical model and algorithm are tested by comparison with the experimental data. An analysis of the electric and magnetic fields of the discharge chamber of the electrohydraulic installation is fulfilled.
