Preparation of Finely Dispergated Bentonite Suspensions in a Bifrequency Cavitation Field

Rezumat

CZU 534.29-7

It was demonstrated that application of ultrasonic, hydroacoustic, and bifrequency cavitation for bentonite dispergation allows one to obtain finely dispersed suspensions, including those of submicron particles. It was found out how the particles dimensions depend on the amplitude of oscillations, duration of the treatment, and static pressure. The results of the electron microscopic examination of the suspensions were analyzed.
