On Electrodeposition of Thick Coatings of Increased Continuity

The article is devoted to the problem of increasing the thickness of the electrodeposited coatings of an increased contact continuity. The results of experiments on the formation of thick coatings of increased continuity on the steel surface, using electrodes of the H20N80 alloy, of steel SH15 and bronze BrKMts3-1, are given. The basis of the treatment is the alternation of “deposition – flowing” operations performed by the electrical discharge machining (EDM).
