The Kelvin-Helmholtz Instability on Charged Surface of Liquids of Finite Thickness on Hard Bottom

Rezumat

CZU 532.59

Analytical accounts of the first order of smallness show that the size of an increment of the Kelvin-Helmholtz instability depends on from thickness of liquids. At the growth of the Weber and Tonks-Frenkel parameters the instability increment is increased.

Keywords: ideal non-mixing liquids, tangential jump of velocity field, interface of two liquids, hard bottom, the Kelvin-Helmholtz instability.
