In the present work the effect of glow discharge of atmospheric pressure with anode in the air at the acidicy of salt solutions used as cathode was investigated. Solutions of Na2SO4, NaPO3, Na2HPO4 and K3[Fe(CN)6] were under study. Salient futures were found out for solution acidicy in cases of Na2HPO4 and K3[Fe(CN)6]. These characteristic properties were shown to be bound up with the con- sumption of protons generating by the discharge for Na2HPO4 formation or for the initiation of the of K3[Fe(CN)6oxydation leading to the growth of solution pH. The account of these processes presents the opportunity to find out the yield of protons, initiated by the discharge. It was found out to be close in all cases and is in the range of 0.31.0 proton per ion, injected from plasma.
