Rezumat
The article describes 55-year activity of the international Journal “Elektronnaya obrabotka materialov” (EOM) (http://eom.phys.asm.md) which covers scientific areas related to electrophysical and electrochemical methods of processing and synthesis of materials; application of electric and magnetic fields and discharges to justify new and improve existing technologies; electrical processes in engineering and chemistry. Information on the republishing of EOM in English under the title “Surface Engineering and Applied Electrochemistry” (http://link.springer.com), its distribution by Springer, inclusion in international bibliographic databases and indexing of the Journal is presented. The aspects of editorial and reviewing activities, cooperation with authors from many countries are reflected.
