The atmospheric pressure glow discharge with electrolyte cathode was investigated. The NaOH, Na2SO4, HNO3 solutions were used as liquid cathode. The potential distribution in the positive column was measured by means of moving anode. The dependence of cathode potential fall and electric field strength from discharge current, concentration and nature of solution were determined. On the base of cathode potential fall theory the electron emission coefficients for solu- tions were estimated. Values of these coefficients were found in the range 10-5-10-3.
