The current-voltage characteristics and the resistivity of the composite resistors (varistors) on the base of a non-polar polyethylene and bentonite (a clay mineral) were investigated. It was found that the content of the composite components influences the current-voltage characteristics and the value of resistivity. It was shown that when increasing the molar content of the filler, the resistivity decreases exponentially.
