Numerical Simulation of the Injection Mechanism of Occurrence of EHD-Flows in Liquids with High Level of Low-Voltage Conductivity

This article presents the results of computer simulation of the patterns of the injection-type EHD flows in the wire-plane electrode system in a cell with dielectric walls filled with a dielectric liquid. The threshold character of the EHD flows, regimes of undeveloped and the deve-loped EHD flows, the zone structure of the EHD flows, the influence of low-voltage conductivity values and weak influence of radius of a wire electrode on the structure and features of the EHD flows are explained via the injection mechanism of charge formation.
