The article deals with the analysis of the working environment (water) in the course of the electrodischarge action. The process of the formation of insoluble and dissolved matters (metal oxides, hydrated forms of metal oxide, compounds of nitrogen) is studied. It is established that after the electrodischarge treatment a considerable quantity of different chemical сompounds originates in the initial water solution. Those compounds can have an influence on the structure of water – solvent in the process of hydration. It is shown that there are discharge water treatment regimes that result in a significant change in the water structure and physicochemical properties during a relatively long (up to 7 minutes) period, after which the original properties of the water are recovered. During this time water exhibits an increased activity – absorption intensity of water by capillary structures of both mineral or organic origins increases, as well as the swelling ability of linen fiber structures.
