The investigation results of interconnection of structure and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) properties under the influence of the glow flare discharge interaction carried out in the medium of residual gases of the ambient air, argon and SF6 are presented. It is shown that the quantity of the accumulated electric charges in the samples under influence of the electric discharge depends on defects and the degree of sample defects. The investigations of thermally stimulated relaxation of charges from PVDF samples have been carried out. This gives a chance to qualitatively estimate changes in the defect size and the degree of sample defects by changing material properties.
