Dimensional Effect at Formation of Charging State in Natural Clinoptilolite Particles under the Action of Electric Discharge

The processes of electrization of natural adsorbents – clinoptilolites with different particle sizes are studied. Electric charging of adsorbents was made by the effect of barrier discharge. The accumulation of electric charge in a material was detected by the thermally stimulated relaxation method. It is shown that when clinoptilolite particles become smaller, the surface density of the stored charge increases.
