The analysis of the state and development of electrode systems in industrial electrohydraulic (EH) plants is carried out. These plants should meet the contemporary requirements of power increase and high concentration of energy while simultaneously increasing the electrode system operation reliability. Fabrication of compact electrode systems is necessary but challenging this problem is proposed to be solved by improving both technological processes of EH treatment and electrode systems. Certain examples of practical solutions of this problem are outlined.
