Влияние тиосемикарбазона пировиноградной кислоты на коррозию стали Ст. 3 в воде

Abstract

The process of corrosion of steel St-3 (according to Russian GOST 14959-79 in water with thiosemicarbazone of pyruvic acid additives has been tested by gravimetric, electrochemical and physicochemical methods (UV- and IR-spectroscopy, X-ray analysis). It is shown that addition of thiosemicarbazone of pyruvic acid in water significantly reduces the steel corrosion. The corrosion rate decreases 3.7–6.9 times and the protection degree increases to 73.3–85.3%, depending on the testing time and inhibitor concentration. A mechanism of inhibition is proposed.
