Abstract

At fabrication of copper nanowires array by pulse template-assisted electrodeposition from pyrophosphate electrolyte during long pause time take place corrosion of electrodeposited metal. Through measuring corrosion poten- tials, it was shown that the corrosion rate of these materials in different corrosion environments depends on pores size. Dimensional effect of corrosion rate can be accounted for by the presence of diffusion limitation of the electrode pro- cess rate of one of conjugated stages: anodic dissolution of metal or oxidant reduction.
