Abstract
The model of distribution of energy in a material at pulse influence is offered, according to which one of the basic criteria of an estimation of electrodes erosion at electric breakdown is a speed of distribution phonones (the speed of a sound in a material). The comparative analysis of losses in the erosion of the electrodes, calculated according to this model, and the data received by B.N. Zolotyh [17] is carried out. It is shown that the pressure between particles at the pass of certain energy to material is inverse proportion to the size of particles and can be described the equation for ideal gases.
