Abstract
In the article the author shares memories on academician Boris Romanovich Lazarenco, an out- standing scientist and an organizer of science, the author of the method of electro -spark material processing. His attractive character traits have been emphasized. The author also writes that Lazarenco was an initiator of the researches held in the Academy of Sciences of Moldova in domain of electric properties of plants and methods of electric stimulation of their growth and development.
