Abstract
Physical aspects of conversion of electric energy into mechanical energy (EHD pump) and mechani- cal energy into electric energy (EHD generator) are described. Examples of practical calculations of such converters are given: EHD pump at “electric wind” in poor conducting liquid; EHD wind generator; EHD flow meter-generator; Kelvin generator. Obtained results can be used as a basis for development and calcula- tions of working EHD energy converters.
