Аннотация
Results and some perspectives of the research related to electrical machining methods of mate- rials and control on heat processes which are under way in the Institute of Applied Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova have been reviewed. The data have been provided concerning novel technological processes, electrophysico-chemical technologies and their potential practical applica- tion, including the electrospark machining of materials, machining of metals by anodic heating in electrolytes, electrochemical dimensional machining of materials, deposition of galvanic coatings, metal corrosion inhibition. The results are given of the research based on the interaction of the electric field, current and discharges with liquids, gases and dispersed systems in the processes of heat and mass transfer via convection, at boiling and condensation; on characteristic features and possibilities of using electric and magnetic liquification; investigation of the mechanisms of cavitation processes; electroflotation of dispersed systems and electroplasmolysis. Some application aspects are underlined, and possible ways of targeted application of the results are proposed.
