The influence of the hydrodynamic conditions on the electrode process rate, composition and struc- ture of cobalt-tungsten coatings electrodeposited from citrate solutions have been investigated. The rate of the electrode process depends on the hydrodynamic conditions. However, the electrochemical impedance data do not indicate the presence of the slow diffusion processes. Analysis of electrochemical impedance spectra indicates the existence of slow adsorption processes, such as intermediate adsorption stage. It has been suggested, that the hydrodynamic conditions have a strong influence on the surface state, rather than on the mass transfer from the solution bulk to the electrode.
